Altern Limited is a Maltese company working in areas of Sustainability and Alternative Energy, with the target market being the industrial and commercial sector. With over 10 years’ experience, Altern has been involved in several unique projects related to the design and installation of LED Lighting Systems and Photovoltaic Systems. Other fields of expertise lie within Energy Auditing, Energy Management, Battery Storage, and Electro-Mobility. The Altern Team comprises of engineers, technicians, and installers, and is currently looking to reinforce the Technical Team.
Technical Installer / Technician
The successful candidate shall be involved in the overview, installation, and implementation of a variety of projects within the Altern range including Energy and Lighting. The post shall report to the Installation Team Department Lead and will be working with the other Technical Installers to complete installation projects. The position offers a unique opportunity for the individual to gain experience in innovative areas and their on-site application. The ideal candidate shall be involved in the:
- Preparation and Installation of LED Lighting systems
- Preparation and Installation of Solar, Battery and EV Charging projects
- Preparation and Installation of ancillary electrical and mechanical systems
- Preparation of stock and performing deliveries
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Liaise with colleagues and clients on project planning and scheduling

- Good personal project management skills both off and on site
- Ability to work in a team
- Interest to learn and progress ones position
- Wireman Licence A and/or B is considered an asset
